We are looking for an extremely talented developer who is well versed in PHP, the design and production of web applications and who understands the concept of Excellent Enough Software. Generally, an all-rounder web developer who is language agnostic.
You thoroughly know and delight in excellent web application development and you revel in commerce problems, breaking them down into easily digestible pieces by your experience in object oriented programming and KISS.
The code you produce is gorgeous, understandable and maintainable – as is your approach to user experience design. You can handle problems and make solutions from both a developer and a user perspective.
You have a proven footstep record in collaborating on development projects and you have a strong ability to work creatively and independently, as well as to a specification.
Applicant requirements:
- Minimum of six years working as a professional developer.
- A degree is not required if your portfolio (and references to match) is stunning.
- Willing to go to Boise (we’ll help with your moving costs).
- Willing to visit our office in Boise (at our expense) for a face-to-face interview.
Experience required:
- Flexible attitude to work, gets on well in a team.
- Expertise in PHP, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and browser idiosyncrasies.
- Fanatical about web standards.
- Confidence and a can-do attitude.
- Strong experience in web application development and deployment.
- Awareness of web application security.
- Versed in object oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with *nix in commission systems.
Experience preferred:
- Experience in excellent user experience and interface design by HTML, CSS and JavaScript (jQuery).
- Experience with regular expressions.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows web servers.
You will be joining our team based in our office in Boise, Idaho, and a company of around 50 in total. We are headquartered in Punjab, India.
